The young boy Irfan died after falling into open and vulnerable water channel of Kachura (Skardu) Phase III and the officials began to harass public.
Skardu: According to the local reside, so far six children have fallen in an open
and unsafe water channel and now the seventh has lost his life, there are four
schools around the water channel so the vulnerable channel can kill more innocents if remain open and unsafe the reside further adding that hundreds of animals are fell into the water channel per year.
The local reside are protesting and demanding to PWD responsibles since many years but they are not ready to take action.
After the death of young Irfan the responsibles started to suppress the protest and harass people.
On the day of incident personnel were allegedly
absent from duty, the officers engaged him in other tasks.
